With the help of Guthrie & Craig (Management Services) Ltd our transition was seamless and we flew through with flying colours – a credit to everyone involved.
Having this quality assurance certificate demonstrates our ability to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of a quality management system.
It demonstrates our organization is capable of achieving specified objectives and meeting statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements.
Our scope of Certification includes the design, manufacture and repair or hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and actuators with subcontracting fabrication and machining.
Key Changes In The New Standard
The new ISO 9001:2015 has a much greater focus on the continuous and systematic improvement of processes within the business.
There is a greater emphasis on inputs and outputs. This requires the business to more fully analyse its processes to improve understanding of how they interact with each other.
Top management are now required to set quality objectives and plans to achieve them.
Adopting this standard will help us improve the products and services we deliver to our customers, aswell as become a better business overall.
